**All supporting documents (marriage certificates, birth certificates, court papers, proof of insurance, etc.) must be received in HR by Thursday, November 9th at 5:00 p.m.

CHANGES & IMPORTANT INFORMATION

For the 2018 plan year, the County received a 3.5% increase in medical premiums, a -6.1% decrease in dental premiums, and 0% in vision premiums.  The changes in premium amounts will be on your December 1, 2017 paycheck. All new enrollments or changes in coverage made during the annual Open Enrollment period will be effective on January 1, 2018.

 

The County increased their contribution towards medical coverage.

Anthem Blue Cross offers a 16-week lifestyle change program through SOLERA4ME for a Diabetes Preventions Program (DPP)

 

THERE'S AN APP FOR THAT!

Our Health, Dental and Vision providers each have apps available for download.

                 

 

Our third-party administrator, Alliant, has created an employee benefit app called BEN-IQ.  The app provides an overview of what the County offers, what services and procedures are covered, annual deductibles, and includes a cost of coverage calculator.  Look for the little Einstien and download the app.

CASH-IN-LIEU OF MEDICAL INSURANCE

If you currently have Cash-In-Lieu you will not need to make an appointment to re-enroll unless you are making changes to your dental or vision coverage.  You can complete the CIL Form/Declination of Coverage and forward it, along with a copy of your current medical card/proof, to Human Resources beginning Monday, October 23rd and ending Friday, November 3rd.

If you are not currently receiving the Cash-In-Lieu benefit and would like to enroll for the 2018 year please contact Human Resources for a one-on-one appointment.

FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS

If you currently are enrolled in one or both of our Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA's) you will not need to make an appointment to re-enroll.  You can complete the appropriate flexible spending enrollment form and forward it to Human Resources beginning Monday, October 23rd and ending Friday, November 3rd.

 

If you are not currently participating in our Flexible Spending program and would like to enroll for the 2018 year please contact Human Resources for a one-on-one appointment.
